During distribution, the members of Project LINC surveyed 162 students: 84 from Agara and 78 from Mamballi. The following graphs provide comparisons and baseline data to assist future study.

In Agara, there are significantly more boys in high school than there are girls. In Mamballi, the numbers are equal.

Students in Agara tend to have less siblings than students in Mamballi.


77.4% of students in Agara have electricity, whereas only 64.1% of students in Mamballi have electricity.


In the area that includes both Agara and Mamballi, more boys than girls have electricity.

Overall, most of the students in the area use kerosene lamps.
